Hi, I’m Emma 👋
I started Toastera because advice on toasters and toaster ovens online was either vague or buried under long life stories. I wanted one place with clear, tested, trustworthy answers — plus a few great recipes along the way.
Our mission
Give clear, specific, trustworthy answers about toasters and toaster ovens — real temperatures, real times, and the safety details that actually matter — so you get better results and cook with confidence.
How we create our content
- Researched and cross-checked. Temperatures, wattages, and timings come from appliance specs, food-science basics, and manufacturer guidance — not guesswork.
- Safety-first. Anything involving heat, electricity, or cleaning includes plain safety guidance.
- Kept current. We revisit and update our most-used guides as appliances and best practices change.
- No filler. We answer the question first, then explain the why.
Safety first
Toasters and toaster ovens get hot enough to burn skin and ignite nearby materials. You’ll see safety notes throughout the site on clearance, crumb-tray maintenance, and never leaving an appliance running unattended. Our guidance is general and educational — always follow your appliance’s manual.
Who’s behind Toastera
Toastera was founded by Emma Caldwell and is produced with the Toastera editorial team — a small group focused on toasters, toaster ovens, and countertop cooking. We research, write, test where we can, and keep our guides accurate and genuinely helpful.
Affiliate disclosure
Toastera participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and earns a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We only point to products we believe are genuinely useful, and affiliate links never change our advice.
